Very disappointed by the way the Steelers started the season.
The Jaguars are the best team in the NFL right now. The Rams are the best team in the NFC.
The Panthers look like the worst team in the NFC South.
The Bills and Cardinals are 0-2 and look like they are done.
The Giants and Texans play next week and whoever loses will be done at 0-3. If the Giants lose, time to get rid of Eli. If Houston loses, then Bill O'Brien might get fired.

Eli is not the problem. The whole team isnt good enough. And they don't have a back up that can replace him.

Their drafting Barkley over a new QB was idiotic.

The Steelers game was a living nightmare. We know the offense is good. We know we have an above average offensive line, a hall of fame quarterback, the best receiver in the National Football League and and up and coming superstar in JuJu Smith-Shuster. The question mark is the defense and this is not a Superbowl defense and it may not even be a playoff caliber defense.

As far as the Giants thing goes it was 100% the right decision to pick Barkley in my opinion. That team goes 4-12 this year or even 6-10 and gets a top QB next year. What does he have to work with? Odell and potentially a top RB. That offense could be scary with an elite top pick at QB. I know that's not what they were thinking but it could work out.

Regarding Tampa, it would appear they have a QB controversy. With one more week in Jameis Winston's three game suspension, would the Bucs simply give him the starter's job back, despite what Ryan Fitzpatrick has done in the first two weeks (over 800 yards passing and 8 touchdowns)? I would say they need to at least consider it. I mean, there's a reason Fitzpatrick is on his seventh team, sooner or later, the magic will wear off and he'll come back to earth, probably with a thud. Not every 35 and over passer can excel late in their career like Tom Brady and Drew Brees, Fitzpatrick isn't one of those guys, so for the Bucs to jettison Winston (even though he's been a knucklehead) would, in my opinion, be a mistake.

But let's not pretend that Winston is a great Quarterback. If this were Tom Brady on suspension and his backup was lighting it up, of course you'd still put in Brady. But the jury is still hardcore out on Winston. Talent wise, they've had all the talent in the world, but for some reason have never won more than 9 games with Jameis and have not yet been to the playoffs. Is Jameis the only reason for this? No. But when you're essentially in a prove it year and he can't stay out of trouble, you start to wonder, is he worth it? Not saying that Fitzpatrick is the long term option, but I think as of right now, he's their best chance at winning.

I'll give you an idea of how bad the offense is right now...

Arizona didn't cross the 50-yard line until less than a minute was left in regulation.

Winston's also had issues with bad turnovers at times and his off field issue has irked the team. Yeah Fitzpatrick is not a long term QB answer. When he gets hot during a season he gets on a roll and produces as we saw with Jets and Bills. But he also can get cold and just...struggle. Like he had with Jets and Bills.

For the short term, yeah. But, if Tampa isn't all in on Winston, will they have to look for a new QB (either through the draft or free agency) after the season ends?

Like every team who has had Fitzmagic they will delude themselves into thinking he can be the guy

Maybe, depends if they get that franchise QB, and he is better than Darnald. But the entire Giants management have told the fans this was all about winning now with Eli. And they mean an SB. Two losing seasons is not what they promised.

So youtuber FemLoRaps looked into the defensive lineman who back in 2015 punched Geno Smith and broke his jaw. The player was IK Enemkpali who was born to Nigerian parents in Texas and was a 6th round draft pick. But as Femlo brings up ....Geno kinda deserved what happened.

    - The backstory was IK as a young man did have a temper and was arrested for punching a security guard. He got off from that and pledged to keep himself on straight & narrow. And for the next 4-5 years he did just that and never hit anyone else. So once he got drafted and spent time on practice squad seeing little action he decided to start a football camp for kids in his town.

He invited some Jets players and asked Geno Smith if he'd show up. Geno agreed to do it and even agreed to be a coach for the kids ! More kids signed up thinking Geno Smith would show up as a coach and help them. Instead ...he no showed it (which pissed off team mates and IK) . But the big issue was he owed the guy $600 for his plane ticket that IK paid for.

    - Now Geno Smith claimed a friend was in an accident but no one knows for sure if this was true or not.

    - Time passed and IK kept asking Smith when he'd pay him. The team started teasing IK over how Geno was finessing him essentially. This continued til IK hit a breaking point and told Geno he wanted the $600 bucks he was owed. Smith instead got angry some young rookie was wanting money from him . So he put his fingers in his face and was talking trash and IK just let him have it. Breaking his jaw.

    - IK was released and picked up the Bills and a year later got in a fight in camp and punched another player. After some injuries in 2016 he was released and now is home raising a family and working on a comeback possibly.

But the end effect was the punch in the jaw shattered whatever respect players had for Geno Smith. He already was struggling to be the QB for the team and was even a backup to Ryan Fitzpatrick at one point. But that had the team realize that Geno was immature and an *******. So he lost the locker room with that and coaches knew he'd never regain it.
