Perhaps. Still, the Pats stumbled out of the blocks to begin the 2017 season. If memory serves, they were 2-2 at one point, then won 11 out of their last 12. Sure, this year's team looks horribly undermanned at the skill positions, but it would be foolish to count out Darth Hoodie and Tom Terrific until they're actually dead and buried, and perhaps not even then.

They are still contenders and in the conversation. They just don't look like the AFC finals sure thing they usually are. Though with Belichick, they can come back to form.

So what reporter will be dumb enough to ask if Brady will be benched or if his run is over as a contending QB ?

I seriously doubt any reporter would be THAT stupid.

Kellerman on ESPN will probably not ask, but state it as fact.

They did it a couple years ago....and Brady went into a football rage that led him to going to another championship.

I was a big Marino fan back in the day, so don't think I'm not partially cheering for them.

The Seahawks saved their season yesterday, while the Cards ruined theirs at 0-3. The Cards, Texans, and Raiders are all done.
All four teams in the NFC North are going to stay in the hunt. Ditto the NFC South.

Someone needs to, its just not the same with the Patriots being in such a sad state of affairs.

Speaking of which, Vegas sportsbooks must've took a real bath yesterday after Buffalo, a 16 point underdog absolutely whipped Minnesota like the proverbial rented mule.

The few people who placed their money on the right bet must have made a nice amount of money out of that game.

Now I admit I support Bell for wanting a new contact because he's not showing up and half assing practice to get one. Or telling the team , well I'm investing in myself so no practice and **** off. No he's losing money by sitting out for a new deal and not half assing it out there.

Meanwhile Pete Carroll comically stands by this horse **** and claimed how Thomas played full speed during a game. Well its gonna catch Thomas at some point where a WR blows by him all because he sit out practice investing in himself.
One of the "headlines" in my newsfeed this morning were rumors of a Thomas to the Chiefs trade in the works.

While the Chiefs need help on defense and a pairing of Thomas and Berry would be great , not with the attitude I have seen from Thomas thus far. Also he'd pout over not getting to go to the Cowboys I'm sure.

Yesterday was a hard day for NFL teams and injuries.

    - Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a season ending torn ACL as feared. Also the 49ers suffered another loss as Anthony Sherman suffered a calf injury and will be out for 3-5 weeks.

    - Marcus Peters is also out 2-4 weeks with an ankle injury he suffered this past week.

    - Ricardo Allen for the Falcons is lost for the season with a torn achilles injury.

    - The Dolphins watched William Hayes (DE) was lost for the season with a torn ACL after he sacked the QB and tried to follow rules and not land with his full weight. It ended up making him blow his ACL.

Apparently the Chiefs were the "mystery" second team negotiating a trade with the Seahawks competing against the Cowboy during the draft and through August. Talks have cooled some but Seattle might be more inclined to trade Thomas soon since there is n way he will resign with them after the season now, and KC and Dallas are the two teams in the mix open to acquiring Thomas.
