I would love to have him reteam with John Byrne ( I know it won't happen but I can dream) for one last Iron Fist story. Provided he stays with the times and does not ignore what has come after he left Iron Fist all those years ago. Outside of that I would not mind him doing a solo book built around Sage. I felt he went a little long with her in Exiles but he does seem to know how to write her. He could write any kind of book with her and he could have it take place anywhere in the Marvel Universe.
Would really like to see him on an Excalibur book. Where he can be as Zany as he wants. Or him and Pacheco continue with X-Treme
Why do people care?!? If you like him read him of you don’t; don’t read him..
I don't think modern Claremont will ever be able to match his older work. That said, if he were to be writing a title, I'd opt for a satellite book- probably Excalibur
Something with 616 Madelyne Pryor. He's the only writer I'd trust to give her a fair shot at redemption.
Beverly Allen, the Bee--with honey and stinger.

Chris and Alan writing Excalibur was good, funny and the art was fantastic. After they left, the book went downhill.
But X-treme was a big disappointment from the start.
What we need is Chris teaming up with another great artist like Alan again on a core X-book.
He should concentrate on only one book, if he writes too many books at the same time, the quality suffers.
At the least, he should write New Mutants again because the writers after he left didn't do justice to the characters except for Zeb Wells.

I'd like to see him on a main title for a little bit. I think he could do well still.
He could be on a team book, why not. I think he could write nice stories for the current Astonishing team. Though I do not want him on a core title with lots of A-listers.
Honestly I do think his style of writing does not fit this time anymore. It's a bit to childish. But so is the current Astonishing book, so why not have him on that instead?

Preferably he'd be on something I don't read.
I love the guy but he needs to work on staying retired or something non-X related. Go save She-Hulk.
