Despite some of its “issues”, I still have a soft spot for this variant costume worn by Aquaman. It was designed by the late Neal Pozner and then adapted as a tribute by his partner Phil Jimenez for the new look for Tempest/Aqualad years after Pozner’s death.
Black Canary
From “Injustice”
Black Siren from “Arrow”. I like how the look married the fishnet and the duster jacket in a way that would work for a martial artist but still looks like a glamourous showgirl. I miss the duality and subversive element of the Canary identity that has become out of step /unappreciated in modern forms.

Mister Miracle and Big Barda have two of the coolest design. So very Kirby. I also love Barda’s red and black bikini look with the open finger gloves.
When it comes to super-villains one of the best dressed is the Shade.

Once Cockrum and Grell worked their magic, there really wasn't a dud in the bunch. Pretty much the coolest super-team ever.
Batman - Daredevil
Sensor Girl’s visual (alternatively by Greg Larocque and Steve Ligthe) is what pulled me back into LoSH. Bringing 80s shoulder pad excess to the 30th Century. And then I even liked the update by Giffen for the end of the Levitz era Legion book.
Something absolutely striking about the full face mask.
I remember when I was younger and my uncle gave me random books from the 90s and how cool this design was. Haven't read much from Manhunter, but I think this look totally deserves a comeback.
Definitely, my next choice would be...
The Riddler

I always liked to draw super costumes and fantasize about becoming a comic book artist. But the costumes I drew were relatively easy to visualize. I wonder if the artists who came up with these complicated designs, like the Aquaman blue and purple one or Doomsday's whole look, were sending a message to amateurs like me that we could never be in their league, because the work is too demanding. I can't imagine putting in so many hours just to execute such designs simply for one panel on a page and having to do that over and over again every month.
