Am I the only who liked THE PREDATOR (2018)? I don't think a lotta critics got the quirky dialogue characters and dialogue. I would love a crazy alternate cut featuring all the crazy day time battles and other stuff (convoy under attack, Nebraska shooting heavy machine gun, Edward james Olmos and additional predators) . I liken the film to Texas Chainsaw massacre part 2. It featured an ambitious, heavily altered script by LM Kit Carson (Paris, Texas!) filled with quirky dialogue and characters. It was hated at first for "ruining" the franchise but has since gained acceptance. I am hoping the predator will do the same. I remember when Predator 2 came out and was unfairly mauled, history repeating, I guess.

SPOILER WARNING - the film ends with a LOT of predator tech falling into human hands. Maybe they can use it to launch a proper AVP3 movie set in space...

It's not that they didn't get the quirky characters and dialogue but they didn't want to see those things in a Predator movie. I don't want comedy when I watch Predator.

The first thing that came to my mind was "Spider-Man 3" and I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one. I'm not going to debate the criticisms - it was a hot mess, but I actually thought "bad-ass Peter" with the dancing was hilarious! I guess a lot of people didn't appreciate the cringy humor of it - I loved that "Dark Parker" is still a dork, but that's me. And I ultimately liked how the Sandman was used, even though I didn't like the retcon of Uncle Ben's killing. And though he didn't look like Brock, Grace fit the mold of being the dark mirror version of Peter.

I'll jump in and say I love this scene as well. It was the best part of that movie by far. Creepy Pete was awesome.

The Never Ending Story II: The Next Chapter.

Having read the book I appreciated that it basically covers the middle to the end like the first movie covered the beginning to the middle. I think it suffers mostly from having a budget that didn't allow it to cover the scope of the book (the mechanical giants immediately come to mind). Getting past that its a good movie and I love how this time its Bastion's dad reading it. I hate how parents in these kind of films are either absent or oblivious to what's going on, and this one fixes that at least.

Punisher War Zone. This was much truer to the comics and characters.

Swamp Thing. Not sure how much this is hated really.

Terminator Salvation. Don't understand the hate for this one.

    Blade Trinity

Harley Davidson & The Marlboro Man. It's just a fun flick.

    Judge Dredd (1995)

    The Crow: City Of Angels

Black Hole. Disney's version of Star Wars way before they actually owned Star Wars.

Haven't seen a lot of those movies but eeeeeeeeeeew, no! You take two violent franchises and make it a corny PG13 piece of crap. Lance Henriksen is always great to see, but that scene of the main girl and the Predetor having the sled ride makes me belly laugh every time. Make it R!!! Make it good!

imo Addams Family Values > Addams Family. I don't know if that's consensus though.

Yeah, i have to rewatch it. What a fun movie...

There were some goofy superhero movies at the time, like: Super Sonic Man, Argoman, Gold Face or Puma Man...
