I guess even in the 1980s when the film is set around, no one bothered about having secret identities and the need for superhero masks or disguises?

Most of the movie is set in space, she doesn't need a secret ID.

When you no longer live on Earth and are part of an Alien Special Ops group, does a mask or disguise even matter anymore?

finally, the skrulls on the big screen! they´ll have to do some renaming though, super skrull sounds too wacky. and marvel will want to avoid "super" tag in their name giving title. maybe omega skrull?
the future is female? what kind of nonsense is that exactly?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Super Skrull is not on this movie. AFAIK he's part of F4 rights.

Well, its set in the 90s, so...leather was in. Though I guess that was more late 90s (thinking of Blade 1 and Matrix 1).

Well that and its usually more symbolically impactful when hair is cut as opposed to grown. Especially in regards to her.
