Default Team Prep vs Michael Myers

    The team of:
Kevin McCallister (Home Alone 1 and 2)
    Alex Pruitt (Home Alone 3)
    Erin (You're Next)

Have 48 hours to prep using all materials they've had in their movies. Location is a mansion - either the McCallister mansion or the Davidson family mansion.

They face the serial killer Michael Myers, who is on a mission to kill each one of them.

Can they rig enough traps in the mansion to put him down and survive?

Harry and Marv had meta human durability

Hell I could see Myers not taking nearly as much punishment as they did

Myers has taken some similar injuries, albeit not to the frequent extent Harry and Marv did within the span of a single night:

Erin can handle herself too so I could see her beating Myers after the traps

People keep forgetting at the end of the movie Harry and Marv caught up to Kevin and would've probably killed him painfully if not for the lucky intervention of his neighbor.

...And Mike's a lot more relentless than those guys.

Which is why Kevin also has teammates - Alex and Erin, both of whom will also be rigging their own traps on top of Kevin's.

Won't do them any good, at least if we're using the explicitly supernatural version of Mike Myers.

Yes after after shrugging off numerous fatal blows like fast heavy metal objects directly into the face. Yes Myers is durable, but being point blank in a kerosene explosion or a large steel pipe dropping twenty feet directly on him is generally more damage than he just shrugs off. Or at least the earlier versions, I've never watched the later Friday the 13th lite movies. Hell is their anything equivalent to taking four bricks thrown from the roof of a multistory building directly to the forehead in the space of a few seconds?

Edit: Not saying definitively that Myers can't do it, just that Marv and Harry getting to him in the end isn't some kind of bad feat since they just acted like high level rpg characters in a low level dungeon and just walked through every single trap he set with no real injury until he ran out of traps. hell they even pulled off an offscreen teleportation trick to catch him at the end if memory serves.

Michael is pretty crazy stealth wise, as well as durable. He could easily avoid the traps as he not an idiot like harry and marv

Sure Michael may be tough, but even if the traps fail Erin can scrap. We could be getting that scene where Michael gets a knitting needle to the throat, except it's a knife and it's in his cranium. Or it's a bigger axe or hammer, and it's in his cranium.

In the original movies Myers has straight up survived things that should be impossible for any normal human to live through, like getting riddled with bullets, stabbed through the eyes, run over by a truck, caught in an exploding building, etc. Yeah, he might be taken out temporarily but since this is a scenario (I think?) a ten count isn't going to be an issue.

Also, as pointed above, he's also a good bit smarter than Harry or Marv, and very stealthy. Electrified doorknobs don't mean much when you can slasher-teleport.

Well considering Kevin killed them several times in that movie that is kinda moot point.

Obviously Myers doesn't "die" because sequel but if we are talking injuries that ended a Halloween movie then Home alone has several of them which put end to movie. Mostly this going to be a pointless convo because movies are wildly inconsistent what kills Myers just as example Halloween 2 (1981) he burned to death, Halloween 2(2009) he was shot to death, H20 he was decapitated, Halloween: Resurrection he was electrocuted and burned. Myers is shown consistently dying to decapitation and fire. Home Alone kid has been shown to be pyromanic, I like their chances.

    One guy's take...

Feels like this comes down to what "Prep" entails.

If they have a solid overall working knowledge of what Myers is capable of, they can probably account for it and just start taking limbs off of him. Durability is less of a factor if you don't have arms.

Kevin McCallister could make a good horror movie villain, but you'd have to figure out a way to substantially differentiate it from the Saw franchise.
