Superman/Batman is by far my favorite DC comic series. I hate how Jeph Loeb's run was so popular because the later stories were even more insane.

    Legion of Super-Heroes – Levitz/Giffen/LaRoque/Lightle era
    Teen Titans – Wolfman/Perez years
    Young Justice – PAD
    Swamp Thing –Alan Moore
    Power Company – Busiek?
Batman and the Outsiders – Alan Davis
    Superboy – Kesel
    Superboy – LeMire
    Infinity, Inc. – ???
Not sure about the 10th position, right now, Green Arrow: Longbow Hunters and PADs Aquaman run seem more like minis than actual runs. Watchmen was definitely a mini, even if it’s one of the best things ever. Something wonky like Young All-Stars, maybe?

I’m not going to count pre-DC-ownership Wildstorm stuff, but if I did, I’d want to make room for the early runs of WildCATs, Stormwatch (pre-Authority, the team led by Battalion/Jackson King and including people like Diva and Winter), Gen 13, DV8 and Wildcore. Nothing post-DC-ownership from Wildstorm cracks my top 100, let alone my top 10.

    In no particular order:

1- All Star Comics By Gardner Fox and others.
    2- Satellite era JLA.
3- All Star Squadron by Roy Thomas.
    4- Infinity Inc.
    5- Firestorm by Gerry Conway.
    6- Sandman Mystery Theater
    7- Hawkman by Geoff Johns.
8- Green Lantern by Geoff Johns.
    9- Starman by James Robinson.

All my other favorite comics are either mini-series or elseworlds.

    1. JLI/JLE by Giffen & DeMatteis
    2. Legion of Super-Heroes ('80s) by Levitz
    3. New Teen Titans ('80s) by Wolfman
    4. Books of Magic (mini) by Gaiman
    5. Death: The High Cost of Living by Gaiman
    6. Swamp Thing by Moore
    7. Seven Soldiers of Victory by Morrison
    8. Promethea by Moore
    9. Sandman Mystery Theatre by Wagner
    10. Legends by Byrne

Edit: Somehow I missed the "No mini-series or crossovers or self-contained stories, but just a regular comic series that you bought every month and loved."

    So...

    1. JLI/JLE by Giffen & DeMatteis
    2. Mister Miracle by DeMatteis
    3. Dr. Fate by DeMatteis

The only ongoing DC comics that weren't 'mini-series or crossovers' AND that I 'bought every month and loved'.

Matter of fact, JLI, JLE and Mister Miracle are the few times where I bought a complete run of a DC title as they were coming out.
Since the original G&D JLI era ended, nothing has really compelled me stick with a title that long again.

Well, when you put it that way, it's pretty easy. All I have to do is think of those titles I bought every month (in some cases every other month, if they were bi-monthly) and loved--as opposed to titles I later got as back issues or reprints. Ruling out comics from other publishers, sticking just with DC, and ruling out titles that ran for less than ten issues, those would be:

    1. DETECTIVE COMICS (in 1966-68, but then again from around 1971 thru 1983).
    2. SUPERMAN (mainly from 1971 thru 1978).
    3. THE NEW TEEN TITANS (from 1980 thru 1983).
    4. THE FLASH (1972 to 1979, but then again from 1981 to 1985).
    5. HOURMAN (1999 to 2001).
    6. SUPERBOY & THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES (1973 thru 1979).
    7. THE WARLORD (1976 to 1983).
    8. THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD (1972 thru 1979).
    9. JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA (1971 to 1977).
    10. SHAZAM! (1972 to 1978).

Actually, this was harder than I thought it would be--some tough choices.
