This is a tough one. 20 would be easier.

    Mostly chronological:

    The Legion of Super-Heroes - Cockrum/Grell/Giffen
Justice League of America - The 70's through the Crisis
The Brave and the Bold - Aparo is a Bat God.
Batman/Detective Comics - The early 80's run when both books crossed over every month.
The Warlord - Grell's first 75 or so issues
The New Teen Titans - Perez/Wolfman Best comic ever pretty much.
The Fury of Firestorm - First 30 or so issues.
Blue Devil - I love this run so much.
Green Arrow - Grells run is some damn good comics. There was a time I could only afford one comic a month. This was that comic.
Sandman - Not just comics. Literature.
    Batman - Daredevil

Hooboy, these are always hard to do. I usually forget something, but I'll give it a try:

    Batman by Morrison
    Starman by Robinson
    DnA's Legion
    JSA by Johns
    Robin by Dixon
    Batgirl by Pucket
    Batman by Snyder
    Batman and Robin by Tomasi
    Teen Titans by Johns
    Green Lantern by Johns

You like a lot of the same stuff as I do Jekyll. In particular, Johns' JSA and GL, Robinson's Starman. And Jay Garrick is one of my favorite DC characters.

I absolutely loved this book during my teen years. I still like it a lot, but it's dropped out of my top ten over the years.

Totally brain farted and forgot that the OP said to exclude self contained minis or single stories. So with that in mind, my corrected list:

    The Sandman
    Wolfman/Perez on New Teen Titans
    Moore on Swamp Thing
    Golden Age Wonder Woman
    Englehart/Rogers on Detective Comics
Rucka on Wonder Woman (both times)
    Morrison on Action Comics
    Morrison on JLA
    Johns on Green Lantern
    Morrison on Batman

Any fan of Jay Garrick is a friend of mine

Jay has always been my favorite speedster. I love the costume, the helmet. I think he's the best Flash though because his spirit is pure.

I dunno, the OP said "No mini-series or crossovers or self-contained stories, but just a regular comic series that you bought every month and loved." For me that makes it easier to narrow it down, given it rules out so many other comics. If I had to take into consideration all the limited series, multiple titles about one character or a team, comics that I didn't buy as they came out, and so on, I could never decide on just ten or even twenty titles.
