Planet of the Apes series from Boom (5 volumes)

    Enemy Ace War in Heaven
    R.E.B.E.L.S. by Tony Bedard (4 volumes...sigh)
    Superman Camelot Falls vol 1-2
    The Exterminators (5 volumes)
WildCATS vol. 2 by Joe Casey (better than 3.0 imo)

Seconding Batman: City of Crime (Speaking of which, a new edition would be great)

    Also:
    Batman: Dark Knight, Dark City
Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham (Batman + Lovecraft, written by Mike Mignola. What's not to love?)
Daredevil Vs. Punisher: Means and Ends (Bleak as f*#%, but great nonetheless)
Toxin (The son of Carnage. Some dark moments, some very funny ones)
Sunstone HCs 1-2 (A somewhat unusual love story involving BDSM. Great characters and superb art)
Crossing Midnight TPB 1-3 (A very, very cool story by Mike Carey. Fans of japanese folklore will love it. It's a crime this didn't last 50+ issues)
    Spellbinders (Also by Mike Carey)
Spookhouse by Scott Hampton 1-2 (Specially volume 1, for The Upturned Stone. Hampton is a fantastic artist)
Airboy Archives 1-5 (By Chuck Dixon and Tim Truman. Very good adventure comic)

Fury MAX: My War Gone By. I don't know if much by Ennis is underrated, but this never seems to get as much love as Punisher MAX.

Yeah, I agree that was really good but doesn’t get the attention deserved.

"Angels Unaware" by Lee Weeks from the Daredevil: Dark Nights Anthology. A true gem!

    Emily Carroll's Through the Woods
Short horror stories. Very imaginative. I love the art. His Face All Red is fantastic. You can read it on her site.

    Xenozoic Tales
A global cataclysm forces humanity to live underground for several centuries. When humans emerge, they encounter the world dominated by dinosaurs and other previously extinct animals. Spawned the Cadillacs and Dinosaurs arcade game)

    Rocketeer
The original Rocketeer stories by Dan Stevens. Lots of action, humor and very good art.

Post-apocalyptic adventure about the last man alive, and his search for survivors. Highly recommended.

Sci-Fi adventure with a sense of humor.
