I was going to say "Suspiria" or "Devil's Rejects" but I'm not sure they're obscure enuff. Plus they just remade Suspiria.

I remember liking another Rob Zombie movie called "Lords of Salem" which I guess counts.

It is easily the best film he is ever going to make. Also does feel like it's closer to "Obscure" than those other films mentioned.

That's the one where the kid from Independence Day gets castrated with a pair of garden shears!

A great sci-fi horror thriller from the 70s. By Saul Bass who did the opening title sequences for the old Bond films. The actual movie is nowhere near as cheesy as the poster suggests.

Definitely a good one to list. Oliver Stone missed his calling directing horror films all his life.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

Not to mention its superb psych-tinged prog rock musical score by Brian Gascoigne (with contributions from Stomu Yamash'ta and David Vorhaus), which finally enjoyed a Waxwork vinyl release in 2015, and a subsequent CD release in 2016 (part of a two-fer with Crack in the World).

Troll Hunter - "found footage" film about trolls in Norway. More of a horror-comedy

Martin - George Romero film about a teenager who is convinced he is a vampire.

Asylum - Just an ultra creepy horror anthology movie with Peter Cushing
