Ever had to say something that made your tongue want to rip itself out by the roots?

Bendis is writing a pretty good Superman.

How can the Phantom Zone criminals touch each other if they are, you know, phantoms? When was this established?

One of the problems people have with Bendis' story is the pacing. Superman only found out the Earth had been consumed by the Phantom Zone till the very end of issue #1, but it's only in issue #4 that he dedicates himself into solving this problem. Ever since working on Ultimate Spider-Man, Bendis has used a decompressed style of storytelling, which consists on slowing down the action in order to focus on character exploration and giving the artist a chance to shine. It worked on Ultimate Spider-Man because that series was set in its own continuity, but whether or not can work on Superman, I guess we will discuss that once the full story plays out.

This storyline has been dragging on for a while now or at least feels like it.
The Gypsies had no home. The Doors had no bass.

Does our reality determine our fiction or does our fiction determine our reality?

Whenever the question comes up about who some mysterious person is or who is behind something the answer will always be Frank Stallone.
