I think that one is one of her best latest costumes.



I would love her next costume to have some different color schemes then black, white or gold. And I love her Tiara.

Yeah the Joe Mad look was such a departure from the 90s Gold Leader costume. I especially liked it colored purple and drawn by Alan Davis. He had the sense to grow her hair out, remove the cape and streamers, and put her tiara back in place.

As for the Anka iterations, I think my fave came months later. He managed to pull the blocking back a bit, put a big X at the top of her sternum, and incoprate the tiara in a contemporary look. Extra points for full body coverage.

What is your favourite Storm costume ever?

My favorite is the Xtreme XMen outfit she had, the heels were everything to me.

I know I promised to complete and post my Storm costume redesign, but I've been struggling with the color balance, blocking, traditional elements, and contemporary fashion. I wanted to push her away from capes and cutouts and into this gigantic windswept slit-dress concept, but its really disheartening... because I think I found the best Storm redesign ever. :-(

It's mature and sophisticated. It's sexy and feminine. It's powerful. It's superhuman. It's regal. It uses her original brand costume colors. It looks like actual clothes, rather than painted skin. The only thing I don't like is that there's a break at the leg, but it's necessary for the color break.

This looks absolutely amazing I love the color scheme and the different version of the cape.

Well I'll be wasting my time with it because Logan is my favorite character. Also, when he says other heroes will be the main focus, why do I get the feeling he actually means Kitty?

I'm going to be reading as well, but this is extremely disappointing, especially when she was Logan's last relationship.

And Kitty may not be on that cover, but you will not refuse her a book that these writers can make her a prominent figure on.

Well as long as she's treated better there than in Gold I'm all for it, I didn't really expect her to have something amazing happen with her, just hearing that she does important things makes me happy.

Absolutely love this look. If opportunity permits I’d like to see it actually become a future look for her.

Thanks for posting this. I appreciate his honesty but thanks for saving me $$$. I won’t be buying any of his books or this story arc now. Not looking for a RoLo revisit but over x-writers not giving Storm relevance in any stories, let alone in one where she Would be going beast mode in to help/save Logan.
