He stated he was working on a project for DC and also an independent comic for Image. He seemed genuinely interested in the X-characters and hopes to draw them again. I did get his contact info though so if I want a piece on commission I'll know whom to go through.

I believe this is the new X-Men's (#113) second encounter with Magneto. He defeated them and left them bound in chairs that neutralized their powers and reduced their physical motor skills to that of six month old infants as payback for when he was turned into a baby. He left their minds intact so they could be aware of their suffering. He underestimated Storm.

This is one of my fav Storm moments, this era was just golden for her. I miss these days when the XMen ruled the comic world and we actually had great stories and representations of iconic characters. These great stories are what helped me fall in love with the character and truly get a feel for what Storm embodied.

Although Magneto had evolved as a character, he was still in the classic super villain mode. It won't be until X-Men #150 that the foundation was set for the Magneto we have today.

The Magneto we have today is a murder many times over... And, being that there's no statute of limitations for murder he is neither redeemed nor innocent of his crimes -- so, as far as I'm concerned Erik is still a villain of the highest caliber.

He stood trial and was acquitted. Although to be fair he did use his helmet which may have influenced things.
