I think Storm has always been a nurturing and commanding presence among the team, and naturally has good qualities for teaching, but she herself never grew up in that sort of institution as a child, she learned from the school of life, and I think her sitting in an office and grading papers, assigning uniforms and calculating gpas is a misapplication of her abilities, and not necessarily a cultural practice she would deem necessary or even important.

I prefer Storm in a mobile action squad, or a more ambassadorial/queen type position, not a school marm. I hope they do bring back Xavier, so he can stay home and change diapers, while Storm gets to the business of the day.
This makes way too much sense.

I see characters that work better to do more straight super heroics with few variations, storm and wolverine are in my opinion few of them. No need for re inventions (doesn't mean no new costumes tough) because the characters always works one way, however that shouldn't stop the character from branching and exploring new directions because they might find something the writers can make em fit and readers enjoy. Maybe training a very specific group of students that have immense powers and who better than her to teach how to handle them...

I'm fine with Storm training, leading, coaching teammates and new recruits as necessary, but the private school with uniforms and books and tests is a boring angle to play her at. Look at Magneto, when he was left in charge of the New Mutants. All he did was drink and loose them, and occasionally yell at them, and maybe once or twice have a good Danger Room session with them. It was forced, and even Claremont didn't do much with it. If Charles and Emma want to run schools and give out demerits, fine, whatever, but I think Storm has better ways to spend her time, and mutant have better ways to learn, than by emulating an antiquated system.

She graduated from Xavier's school and now she teaches there. Doesn't that make her a Professor?

when did she graduate? I dont ever recall even seeing her take classes or anything. To my knowledge the teen groups are the ones that have been shown as graduating. The adults have just been there and school was never emphasized with them

Besides Professors tend to have advance degrees. Storm doesnt hold a Ph.D or even a masters. Xavier had the former which is why he could be called Professor

The variant of Storm getting backhanded by Crystal is hilarious.

I like that Gorgon knows to be fearful/cautious of Storm.

Perhaps we may see a Storm vs. Crystal clash in this issue.
We are the Dora Milaje. We are the daughters of the 18 tribes of Wakanda. We are the teeth of the Panther God. Out of 10,000 years of sweat and bloodshed and battle are we born. We are the women of this ancient land. Deadliest of the species. And our time has come!

It looks so silly to me.

If you could have Storm have a serious fight with any hero in Marvel. Who would it be?
