Plus in terms of narrativee structure he's following the basics of storytelling but the way he portrays Storm is weak. She's letting old man Logan tell her what to do, not really asserting herself as much as she should. It's weak. Storm deserves to be herself as defined by better writers settling for mousy Storm is how we got here in the first place. Guggenheim isn't doing Storm any favors. He wants a watered down weak black woman and that's not Storm.

At the end of the storm fans have to high standards, not impossible ones just standards of excellence and determination. Guggenheim has shown even in this area that Storm is too much for him. She intimidates him and that is reason enough for no Storm fan to support this mess.

Maybe he's just a shitty writer that can't writer storm to save his life. Anyways, how'd you balance storm having a strong power set in a team of badass normals? Justice league cartoon did it by nerfing superman but the writing was good overall, justice league movie... Well let's just said superman is the league at 99.9 % power

I made that assessment since he was doing it to everyone else. Im not being bias. I love Claremont and i never read his xmen stories the other way around. I only knew there were implications when somebody told me. But i deny it because it wasnthow i understood it , i dont like statements where it can mean differently. And knowing that Marvel actually planned to have BP and Storm married in the future, therefore, he was told not to. And even now, writers are prolly told not to. Thats why Storm is still Storm. Good thing for Northstar, Iceman, etc. But i dont think itll happen to Storm.

I think lightning is practical, easy to target, fast to deploy, highly destructive and looks pretty cool without any effort. Considering Guggenheim amazing writing skills I don't think he could used the rest of storm power appropriately

Also as she ever used an air compressed explosion? It's something like taking a huge mass of air and compress it into a very small space, like a hand, then throw and release it with explosive results and cathastrophic to her enemies
