I find it interesting that folks have such a strong visceral reaction to two black characters being in a relationship. Despite the writing if writing at times or revisionist canon , I don't see the problem. I mean lets think about it, how many black couples comic book couples are they? If you look at tv, movies, there needs to be more and better depictions of black love. We aren't even going to get into representation of black lgbtq love in popular culture.
