Anyone remember when crossovers and events like this were actually good? I miss the days when I couldn't wait for Xtinction agenda, Inferno... were coming out. Looking back at that time the X-men were so much better. Then BOTA comes out and it's ****.

I don't care! I'll start my own group. Rejection from society is what started the X-men.
Monty Nero talks about AXM Annual:

Things are looking good for the goddess, eh? Really looking forward to the new solo
I love your avatar, Sundowhn...now let me proceed to fanboy over that picture the good sis Omega has posted
Marvel.com: Why Storm as the focus of the story? What is it about her that makes her a compelling character?
Monty Nero: She’s been so popular for so long because her powers are just great. She’s timeless. I just felt I had a good angle on her personality, her history and her way of thinking, that would be really exciting. As it was, in 20 pages, you can only do so much and tell a satisfying story too. So I’d love to write some more Storm and bring it all to the fore. I barely scratched the surface of her potential.
Praise ha!Greg Pak: Storm's the embodiment of fierce, raw power -- and deep, abiding empathy. She's the most powerful woman in the Marvel Universe --
She has some good moments in No More Humans, Carey gives her a decent voice and treats her as the JGS team leader (IMO). Her eyes are brown in most of the book save for the last few panels, there they are blue (I know this is important for some). It loaded fully at midnight as a Nook Book. Not worth $24.99 to me but it is a solid story. Larroca does her justice. ..not too manly. Overall Storm fans should be happy.
Cheers.
The bald look (like the mohawk look) is hit or hit and completely depends on the artist. Her long hair is almost always drawn well.

I always preferred Ororo with the long hair or long thick Mohawk look, but I think you're right. After seeing Jim Lee's take on the look (totally forgot about that cover) I can see how the bald look could work.
Ibanez pleasantly surprised me, even though the 'hawk is fairly short, but Coipel's mohawk is my favorite look so far.
