Question: what is the percentage of parents who gave silly proper names to their children who also changed their own names into similarly bizarre ones as adults? I'm thinking the number would be small.

There is a line in "Murder Mysteries" by Neil Gaiman that says something like "Women named Tinkerbell give their daughters names like Jane".
