Talking in terms of who "Might be good in the role..." seems sort of disembodied without some idea where things are going.

That said, Clive Standen was who came to mind when "Next Batman" talk came up a while back. Seems like he could also work here depending of the sort of film(s) they intend on making.

Scottish-American. He was born in Glasgow and his family moved to Illinois. He became an American citizen and has dual UK/American citizenship.

I am sincerely hoping that Henry Cavill ends up being cast. Daniel Craig has fallen out of favours with me.

Some of the books and comics have had Bond before MI6. There could be some interesting story there-His orphaning, Skyfall and the Oberhausers (although that's mainly something Skyfall and Spectre pieced together from the original Short story version of "Octopussy"), his school days and of course Bond's naval career. So if they reboot again that might be an interesting direction to take things.




Even the "Origin story" Casino Royale had Bond pretty much start the film as a 00.
