Default The Harvey Dent appreciation thread

Poor, poor Harvey Dent. Last-named among Batman's allies, might-as-well-be last-named among Batman's enemies. In terms of storytelling potential, he may well be the richest cast member in Gotham. And yet, his skill-set largely limits him to cameo and supporting roles in all the big-name projects (Death of the Family, the Arkham games, etc.).

Can we hear a couple of cheers for Gotham's former White Knight?

I really do hope Snyder can do something with him.

I'm looking forward to his upcoming appearance in Batman '66.

    Question about Two-Face SPOILER:

Is Two-Face dead after BIG BURN? In New52 continuity at least?

Posted it elsewhere but didn't get an answer

The by far most reasonable interpretation of that scene says "yes", and he hasn't been in any stories set in the "current day" since, but it's left ambiguous enough to be overturned by a contrived explanation.
    As of now:
All-Star Batman, Batman, Doom Patrol, The Flash, The Fix, The Flintstones, Green Valley, Hadrian's Wall, The Hellblazer, Moonshine, New Super-Man, Suicide Squad, Superman, 'Tec, Unfollow

Thanks, appreciate it. I was wondering if he has shown up since then.

This was the first comic book Two-Face story I read. I was a bit confused by the supporting cast because apparently, it's in the middle of corrupt mayor takeover, but they don't appear long. I read this, I think after Schumacher's movie came out. My first exposure to Two-Face I think was from BTAS.

    Unhappy

Two Face perhaps the most tragic character in all of comics, poor guy. I hope we see his return soon so much more can be done with this character and the concept behind him.

Two-Face is returning in Detective Comics

His origin in Batman #410 when Jason Todd asked about it

It's kinda funny how in his first appearance the focus is on his ugliness. Modern iteration assigns him with mental illness since childhood, but in the original he's just angry because he's ugly.
