It is the most potent of these subtextual bits. When Pak announced Yukio was coming to Storm's solo a few years back, I was hoping he'd explore them more directly in this modern age, but instead he went 180 and made Yukio a manipulative antagonist! Oh, I was so mad!

Yeah, for awhile, PD had Pietro unhealthily obsessed with Ric to the point qhere it seemed like he was in love with him or something. I think later it turned out that Pietro was just using Ric for blahblahblah House of M redemption blahblahblah but anyways, Julio x Pietro is valid.
