Jean was pretty powerless in the 90s animated series.

She was actually pretty stong. Telepathy should never be used as an Easy thing. I loved this Jean. Even if Marvel animation at the time hated her lol.

X2 was good for it's day but definitely IMO doesn't rank as well as newer comic book films and as Logan is a good movie but Shane and Unforgiven told the story better. DOFP is the closet to genre perfection.

that's soooo strange and unbelievable to me. And also very sad. Because as X-Men fans we are lucky. The quality we got for these adaptations is outstanding. Simply really good movies.

TAS also had the best adaptation of the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix Sagas, so stay in your lane, buddy.

That's not saying much.
While I agree it's the best one of the lot I also think it was pretty dire.
