This was probably my favorite issue of Justice League. Not a great cover, but an excellent story.
who did the cover?
Buckler?

Is that sixties spy Diana? I would've thought she'd be off the JLA in that period due to not having her powers.

How was the Justice League stores from the 60s and 70s and is there a Golden Age Justice League tpb
Great fun, although the 60's start off with mostly whimsical plot driven stories, with little unique characterization, until the 70's and the start of Bronze-Age (Satellite Era Justice League), where the characters, heroes and villains motivations and purpose become more complex.
There is a great thread disusing the Satellite era Justice League here. https://community.cbr.com/showthread...justice-league
The Justice Society was the Golden Age first appeared in All Star Comics #3 (1940)
The Justice League began in the Silver Age with The Brave and the Bold #28 (1960) collected in omnibus starting

OK I just thought of the one Justice League that is a must read is #140. It is weird. It is one of the most important books done in the DC universe, and not even in the Overstreet is it notated for what is important is in it (and you can buy it cheap).
But it is one of the most important stories in the DC world.
Sorry its the Silver age and i just checked on amazon they have vol 1 to 4 of it
