First appearance = Detective Comics #253 (March 1958)
Three brilliant guys wearing business suits and animal heads, the Terrible Trio appeared twice in the late 1950s/early 1960s. (Their other time in the spotlight was in Detective Comics #321 a little over five years later.) But they would eventually find their way back before the end of the century . . .

By the way, Batwoman (Kathy Kane) was also in this story, using her terribly female devices that would be more than just laughed at if a writer tried to use them in more modern stories:
