I had been buying a few of the tpb Batman Chronicles Golden Age story collections.
But my big problem with those is that some of the stories from the Batman comic book unfortunately seemed more like filler material.

I only bought the first TPB volume of The Batman Chronicles just to have those very first stories on the shelf, but I never bought the DC Archives or Showcase Presents books, but now, with these comprehensive volumes, I decided to add them to my collection. As for Gotham Central, I have the series of five (original) trades and the (updated) series of four trades, but I just couldn't resist when I could get the omnibus for a good price.

    That was an enjoyable issue!

(Bought that when it originally was released, back in the day.)

I can only imagine. I’m in a total love affair with 80’s pre-Crisis DC right now. Slowly working my way back to 1980 on ‘Tec, Batman, Wonder Woman, and B&tB, to go along with my Action Comics, Superman, Green Lantern, & JLoA. Next up is Flash, LoSH, and DC Comics Presents...
