Default Friday A.I Tony Stark Appreciation

First Apparence Iron Man Vol 3 53 (2002)
    Biography
Tony Stark decided there was no point in trying to hire a new secretary. Instead, he created his own "girl Friday" with a new A.I. program that would appear as a hologram of a young woman. Friday had a sweet, almost child-like disposition and was happy to show up whenever her boss needed he

Probably my favorite A.I. Tony Stark has made. Minus her origin issue.

    Friday Evolution

Friday 1 Misions before Secret Wars
    2002 -2009
Over time, Friday helped in many different capacities: analyzed “Sleeping Dragon” drug for Iron Man; helped Stark track down Ayisha; helped Happy Hogan to track weather patterns around Iron Man; alerted Stark to a jet being attacked by anti-satellite missile; helped Iron Man track influence of Tiberius Stone's Dreamvision; alerted Stark to men trapped in sunken Navy destroyer; uploaded into Doctor Doom's computers to eradicate data; investigated an attack on the Chinese embassy by supposed Stark tech; and prepared Stark's holdings for his attempt to become Secretary of Defense

Thanks for the primer on Friday, juan678. Until now, I just thought she was a creation for the MCU ported into the comics, but knowing she existed well before the MCU or even the first Iron Man movie was a twinkle in someone's eye . . . you have truly expanded my knowledge base. Thank you.

Corporate male chauvinism in action. Dear God, this book is a trip. (I mean that in the best way, seriously, because this is probably not very far off from how male corporate-types act when they think they're in a milieu where they can get away with that kind of behavior.)

While somewhat off-topic, David Marquez's rendition of Mary Jane is lovely as always. Also, if Tony "survives" Civil War II by digitizing himself and then manifesting a virtual avatar a la F.R.I.D.A.Y. to interact with people, that would be a way to keep him around while taking him off the board as Iron Man, even though he could conceivably cyberpathically control an Iron Man suit a la the Hypervelocity miniseries by Adam Warren. All the same, if he were technically an A.I., I could see Stark Industries' board of directors acting as though he really were dead and refusing to acknowledge his digitally uploaded consciousness as having the same rights and authority that the living Tony Stark did, which could affect Riri Williams' and Victor Von Doom's rivaling attempts to assume the mantle of Iron Man.

I kind of wonder if Tony and F.R.I.D.A.Y. will both be A.I.s

Oh my god though Ninja Friday is just the best thing ever. I don't think I've ever loved an AI character more. :3
