Default So Secret Empire happened and Cap is back in the Avengers

..... And that's just fine. Las Vegas in ruins. No More Pawn stars. Black Widow, "Dead" and ..... T'challa's concerned about the Us Govt's reaction to his being Leader? Whaaaaaa? Did Cap exonerate himself in court by proving that reality had been tampered with by a sentient Cosmic Cube. All the other Avengers are fine with Cap on the Roster? Steve doesn't figure that now might be a good time for another Name and Costume change?? I don't keep up with the books as much as I once did. So if there are holes or mis conceptions in my ramblings, please forgive me. Oh.... Cap IS back on The Avengers roster, right? . That would be so embarrassing now if he isn't it. I vote for a less bulky She Hulk asap.

Steve got separated from Stevil. Stevil is the one who was arrested and has been imprisoned. They've got their scapegoat, and they can pretend that a bunch of heroes and government officials weren't also involved.

Thor is an Avenger. And he didn't even have an evil doppelgänger.

Remember when Ironman went crazy and killed Yellowjacket and they had to get another Tony Stark from the past to replace him? This is just kinda athing that happens with superheroes.

I would be perfectly happy if I never saw the Cap changes his name and costume storyline ever again.

Thor has Jason Aaron writing him. He has been punished enough.

...but they replaced killer Tony with non-killer Tony. Thor is still the same one who willingly served Hydra. They didn't hide Zemo or Arnim Zola from him.

Why the Hell would Thor do such a thing?

It's a nickname, to distinguish him from the "good" Steve Rogers who was never (and never would be) aligned with HYDRA, much less leading them. That said, if you wanna see actual repercussions for Steve regarding his HYDRA doppelganger and the public's and government's reaction to him, read the current Captain America run that started on the 4th of July this year. It's made very clear there that not everyone has accepted that it was just an evil doppelganger who replaced Steve and fooled everyone in the country into jumping on the HYDRA train, and some very bad people are taking advantage of the loss of trust in Steve, as well as the void left by HYDRA's downfall at the end of Secret Empire, for their own sinister agenda.

Because "Steve" lifted Mjolnir when Thor himself no longer could, so he figured that meant "Steve" was the same noble hero he'd always known and trusted, even if his actions utterly flew in the face of everything Thor knew and believed about Steve's character. That, and working for "Steve" and HYDRA was the only way he could see to save Jane Foster, the then-current wielder of Mjolnir, from wherever she'd been spirited off. Wonder how he felt when he realized that the only reason "Steve" could lift Mjolnir was just some Cosmic Cube trickery by Elisa Sinclair.

Probably felt it was trickery his brother would be proud of. Maybe he's asking himself if Elisa was Loki in disguise!

I mean Marvel does this all the time

There are at least 30 characters that should never forgive Ironman after Civil War

Cyclops, Namor, Nick Fury the list goes on
    The J-man
