Okay, so, after today issue, I'm really sad to see that it's now that Starfire, Azrael and Cyborg actually have excellent looks. Especially Koriand'r. I want her hair to remains like that forever damn !

Not a fan at all of Cyborg's look, I'm meh on Azrael's look, but I love Kori's look. I would hope they keep the design but they'll go back to the swimsuits when this arc is over.

I'm tired of seeing Titans characters getting turned evil. Not sure how Jessica comes back from getting Omega Sanctioned.

I guess DC hadn't learn their lesson from Earth 2 World's End, what a way to squander so much potential. Such a waste...

I don't see how it's squandering anything, to be honest. I'm not thrilled with Cyborg only pinging, but it cemented Darkseid back as a major player in my book, with schemes and not just brute force, which is already a great start. And, well, I can't wait to see the effects of the Omega Sanction on Jess, and how the three new New Gods will break free, and if any update they have receives will remain or not.

It would be cool if they actually maintain their new god status and have this as an avenue to explore more fourth world stories. Otherwise they'll drop back into obscurity or rehashing same old stories.

Just saw a now-week old spoiler r.e. Jessica Cruz's latest plot development. Not happy at all and was actually somewhat relieved that I'd not gotten around to buying copies of it. Have seen suggestions that there's more to the story and do very much hope so, otherwise I'm done with DC.

Oh, no question she'll get better. This is just a cliffhanger.

Yeah, after I posted this, saw an ad for an upcoming issue that has her in a major role. Looks good and I really need to start getting the trades now.

So, I just re-read the whole series, and I've a theory about how one of the character will have escaped death. It may be spoilery, so it's hidden below .

    spoilers:
We know the Omega Sanction is the Death that is Life. It once sent Batman back to the cavemen era. But in the case of the Ghost Sector, which has been pulled out of time and space, I think that Jessica will have been hurdled into some sort of chaotic era, brought back to life because there was no point in Hypertime or anywhere or anywhen she could have been sent/affected by the Omega Sanction. What I wonder is more how she'd have been affected by it. Bruce had lost his memory, early on. Now, how will Jessica cope with this death/resurrection ? I honestly don't know.
    end of spoilers

Because you're sacrificing a team for a villain. I specifically reference a series that literally crashed and burn when the exact same scenario happen (Earth 2, World End.) Once you decide to wreck a book to prop up a villain, especially regarding heroes that doesn't the same clout as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, you're dooming the book. People do want to read destruction books, especially when it involves someone like Cyborg who has history of being treated horribly to begin with.

but it's The Year of the Villain, the villains are gonna win some. the Legion of Doom has been kick the JL's ass all year strategically. "dooming the book" ya damn right they are!
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

And I mean, Darkseid's been like the stealth main character of this book (I'm being half-serious) .

Issue 12 was absolutely amazing. Abnett has a fantastic voice for Darkseid. Darkseid’s greatest strength shouldn’t be his godlike power but his ability to manipulate and plan on a Machiavellian level. Plus, holy sh!t the new design. Classic Kirby with a modern touch. No more gold and gaudy colors. Darkseid Is!!!

I just wish Abnett was on this title from the beginning. It stumbled right out of the gate and has taken a while to find its footing. I love how he broke down what New Genesis and Apokolis are. Yeah they’re planets but they’re outside time and space in a god realm all it’s own. I’m curious to see how Jessica gets out of this. Maybe she takes a page from Hal and hides within her ring, creating the illusion that she’s dead with her last percent of power.
