Sideways is the stand out book in my opinion. It's an excellent homage to Spider-Man style youth identification heroes with a fun powerset, real consequences from the start and great art.

Terrifics is a good old fashioned superhero book with known heroes and an excellent use of the DC Universe. It's also tapping into to the America's Best Comics universe, so if you liked Tom Strong, there's another reason to check it out. Doc Shaner's art is incredible.

Immortal Men is a snooze for the most part, though I guess some good can come out of it, as some of the characters have some potential.

Damage is a fun Hulk rip off with a great hook. It's dumb as hell but doesn't really aspire to be much more. Good art too.

Curse of Brimstone is surprisingly good. In a lot of ways it's the dark horse of the bunch, especially since it was a late announcement. Regardless, it's possibly going to be the best in the long run.

New Challangers isn't that great, but it's not finished yet.

The Unexpected is a fun book, but it's a Steve Orlando book. High concepts and a deep knowledge of the DC Universe mixed with a sort of plot first character second attitude that isn't to everyone's liking. I dig it.

Edit: I forgot Silencer, but I only read the first issue so far. It was OK.

I mostly agree with this. Sideways, Terrifics, and Unexpected have been my favorites. Immortal Men was okay but I fell out with it. Haven't tried the others yet. But the ones I am reading are among my favorite DC titles right now. I very much recommend trying all of these out. Yes, even Immortal Men. It wasnt my thing but I could recognize the quality of the craft. And I hear almost nothing but good things about the rest.

Except Challengers, which I hear nothing about, ever.

Sideways, Terrifics, and Silencer are my favorites. Brimstone has been decent.
