If the Hellfire Guild of Calamitous Intent could be taken down that easily, they deserve to be dead.
"Gosh who would think one of our evil members would turn on us. Let's ignore any threat."

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
After the dumb first sequence, it turned good.

That sure was one heck of a birth.
And so much for those who stated that the Dark Phoenix clip would drop during the show...

Saw the episode, once again one of the best and most underrated shows of this kind on tv. Loved it. Want more. Wish I could binge watch more of this type of show because this is way better than stuff like iron fist, small ball low tier safety goggles scope and iffy acting.
I had the same thought and posted in much more detail in the season 2 first episode discussion: https://community.cbr.com/showthread...ion-(spoilers)
Plus it doesn't make any sense. They referenced a billionaire in the first season, but they only have $55 million in the IC accounts based on Wire's analysis, so why get rid of wealthy backers?
I like how they were testing Andy's abilities like that.
Another very good episode and even with so little action, the hour flew! It felt like it just started but was over. Next week looks like lots of action.
I liked Eclipse's "hello" to Lorna and Dawn.
Reeva is really evil, why do people follow psychopaths?
I hope she dies in some awful way, but these shows tend to keep very evil villains around.

Pretty great first 2 episodes.
Man, Reeva is quite a nasty piece of work when even ESME is hesitant.
Hope Lorna tears her head off at some point.
