Eh, thanks to McCoy's magic salt shakers in sickbay, the average lifespan of Enterprise crew is 157. Unless you wore a red shirt. Then it's, 'he's dead, Jim.'

Oh, dont get me wrong, I didnt have a problem with him reaching that age. My problem was with the fact that an admiral who is head of Starfleet intelligence, so much so that section 31 answers to him should have at some point been seen or referenced in 21 seasons of three series. Dont you think???

There's a deleted scene in TWOK that shows a baby among Khan's group, although it's unclear who the parents are. Although the kid dies with Reliant, and probably was cut because it would've probably made Kirk and co. kind of bad (Although it's Khan who starts the genesis countdown)

    UPDATED Tier List: DS9 > TNG > TLD >TOS > ENT > VOY > STD > TAS > STP

Considering Lower Decks is only 6 episodes in and its already better than most Star Trek series, I'd say it has a good shot a knocking off DS9 when it finishes.

Every Lower Decks episode has been kino so far though, that's a 100% KMI (Kino Metric Index)!

Okay so I just tried this, and I think it only gave me anxiety They should have the calming hum of the engines in the foreground of the mix, and a lot less random beeps and boops. Made me think the Romulans were about to attack!

But I do love that bridge, in all its hotel lobby radiance!

[Edited because the link prompting this post was debunked]...there is a view that Star Trek is more a TV property than a cinematic one.

Candidly, I think that's best for ST. IMO, there are some cinematic ST treatments that work well, but the entire concept is better suited to an ongoing series.

There's an article on the CBR main page refuting these claims, but who knows what to believe anymore...

The movies have never been the strongest part of any Trek. You could argue Kahn if you wanted, but I'd disagree. Next Gen movies were awful. The Abrams films are definitely not my thing.

Trek is better as TV. Now if only they could make better Trek TV these days.

My apologies if false. If I see a denial from Paramount, I'll edit the post and dump the link.

I tend to agree, but not completely. IMO, the ST films that worked best were closure stories, of which, TWK was clearly the standout.
