I doubt there will be a Thanos movie(although that would be really cool). But everything has pretty much been building up to The Infinity Guantlet. Whether it happens in Avengers 3, GotG 2 or it's own movie is the only question.

I hope we get to see more of Thanos in Avengers 2 and anything else he might be in.

I didn't understand why he disappeared for the whole second half of the movie right after Ronin took the gem for himself.

Was he too scared? (if such a thing exists) or was he buying his time?

I doubt he'll be in Avengers 2 at all. With Ultron, Vision, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, they already have plenty to deal with.

I took it as Thanos was just cutting his losses and would deal with Ronan when or if he ever came after him. I have a feeling a lot of this is just establishing exactly where all the Infinity stones are, having others do that dirty work, and then he'll go get them himself. Since we don't know where at least two(or maybe 3 if Loki's staff wasn't one)of the Infinity stones are, so Thanos may already have one or two.

First the lady that was in the ship with Quill at the beginning, yeah I forgot her name but I'm more meaning that head Nova lady's assistant and then there's an unnamed lady at the very end that smiles at Quill that I thought was good looking as well...

Seen it twice already in IMAX. Great fun. At times a bit too silly but overall the humor was well done. Would have liked to see Ronan's and Nebula's characters developed a little more. Lots of Easter Eggs.

It's foreshadowing if anything cause they didn't even mention Spartax at all.

Thanks! Didn't recognize him. He must've really wanted to be a part of this film to take such a small role.

Eh, I consider easter eggs and cameos to be irrevelant to the plot and characters. A reference to Spartax has to do with Starlord's heritage.

I asked because I saw a giant list of MCU's Easter Eggs and 3/4th of them were foreshadowing. I think Him could be in the that boat depending on the cast of the sequel.

Vin Diesel was also the voice of the Iron Giant, Which if you know how that movie ends makes Groot"s sacrifice a direct homage.
