Holy Ian McKellan Inception Batman!
Holy Ian McKellan Inception Batman!
Captain, in Order to build a better world, sometimes means tearing the old one down... And that makes enemies.
Might give this a look.
Be sure to check out the Invisible Woman appreciation thread!
Looks good to me. My hopes for a Polaris appearance have dimmed now though.
Also want to give a fist of solidarity to everyone in the thread saying Magneto isn't a "villain"
Forget the old ways - Krakoa is god.

This looks good. Slow, but good. And I like how topical and current it is.
"We come into this world alone and we leave the same way. The time we spent in between - time spent alive, sharing, learning together... is all that makes life worth living." - Jean Grey
I mean, the girl is right, but her naivetι is obnoxious. Imagine her reaction when she finds out she’s talking to a genocidal maniac.
The lengthy conversation is nice though. You don’t really get that anymore without quips and exposition. They should give Claremont one of the team books.
Reading that preview was like drinking water after crawling through a desert. As always, Claremont remembers what makes the X-Men and Magneto the most compelling IP Marvel has, now more than ever. I’m definitely going to hit up Midtown the second this is released. I wish he was handling Magneto’s campaign from here on out, but that’s wishful thinking.
Wait, how many daughters has Magneto had?
I know Wanda isn't canon anymore, but he had another girl before Lorna that died?
The art is ugly like Magneto's heart

Thought Mag was back on his asteroid read to do work? What the fuk is he doing at a coffee spot?
No. Magneto was getting stiffed by his boss, and threatened him(with his powers) to make him give him his full wage. His boss then set the hotel Magneto and his family were staying at on fire. Magneto was able to save his wife, but not his child Anya. He lashed out at the townspeople and killed everyone. Magda was horrified by him, called him a monster, and ran away(alive, pregnant with Pietro and Wanda, at least in the old canon). His wife running away from him was what made him lose faith in humanity.
Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!
Great preview.
Chris Clameront writing this story is way cool.
