Shatterstar #1 preview

I just finished reading this. I was a little surprised at how much that I enjoyed it. The only real problem for me was that the references to Shatterstar as Ben threw me off for a second.

My favorite parts of the comic was Gringrave and the flashback to her history with Shatterstar. I hope that she survives the series and becomes a recurring foe for Shatterstar.

I know that this will be unpopular, but I was happy that Shatterstar and Rictor weren't togather. It's Shatterstar's comic and he deserved the spotlight with out having Rictor around to waist panel time. And if Marvel wants the two characters back togather, well that could lead to a reunion story in the future.

I found the narration a little bit tedious but a good issue overall. I would have liked to have seen more of the tenants before they all got captured but hopefully they'll get some time later. And the nod to Rictor was nice, don't mind the break up, just hope it's put to some use.
