William Stryker an upgrade, OMG, LMAO. This is bad creative thinking. Could they really not come up with a better villain. William Stryker died twice already and is used up to be frank.

They could have used his AoA alter ego, Prophet, who came here during X-Termination.

However, it is fun to see Hairbag again, long time no see nasty Boy!

Allerdyce? I thought he was (heroically) dead and thats why we have Newfangled-Pyro in Gold.

Looks good otherwise. Definitely a change in tone from the opening pages of the last several issues.

Using Prophet would’ve been a terrible idea considering the point of the character was that he was the opposite of Stryker including being a hero rather than a religious bigot. A Stryker they could have used though is his son who hasn’t been seen since Bendis’ run on ANXM.

She got napalmed in the face by Deadpool last issue. It burned off the right side of her hair.

Okay.......this got dark real quick....

Can't say I don't enjoy it so far. lol The light-hearted action comedy got boring & annoying early. This change in tone is very welcome, imo.

But this is only 5 pages, so we sadly got a 5-day wait to see if this tone sticks, or if we're gonna reset to silliness & cringey dialogue. *shudders* lol But it looks good so far -a big step up from last chapter's start.

Monet’s haircut? That was thanks to Deadpool burning half of her hair off last issue when she fought him.

It probably is when writers remember & don't nerf her. But Pak isn't the most reliable when it comes to these characters' capabilities. lol

I think Monet rocks the cut. I don't want her to keep it, as it doesn't seem like a style she'd wanna keep. But she can make it work long as it takes to grow back. Deadpool says her hair has the best healing factor & will grow back in no time. Don't know how he'd know, but maybe it will.

yeah, you're also about a month late. check the weapon x #23 thread if you're so worried about her hair.

i guess??? just seems like whiplash considering the team was joking around and everything last issue. weapon x is a fun book, so i wouldnt mind it playing off the soul-selling off for laughs.
