Yeah, it got quietly pushed to November, but we've heard nothing since. Really hoping it comes sooner rather than later, I was looking forward to it.
The only Superman book I am currently reading is Super Sons so I am hoping this will be soon. DC screwed up his All Star Batman run but I plan to still buy these as they come out instead of read for free wait for the trade.
I have so much faith in this creative team.
On one hand, I am looking forward to Superman: Year One. on the other, it's Frank Miller. who I personally believe doesn't get Superman as a character, so I'm 50/50.
Pull-List:
DC: Batman: Damned, The Green Lantern. Young Justice. Wonder Twins
Boom!: Ronin Samurai.
I hope there are no passages that deal with prostitutes, pimps, and the "underworld" of Smallville....
I wish we were getting at least one more Black Label book for Superman, or at least that the only one we have wasn't being written by Miller.
Don't worry. I'm sure anything controversial in it will be removed in future re-printings.
Assassinate Putin!
It's Black Label. It's bound to be more intense than the regular stories.
Thing is that i am concerned on the matter of how Miller will portray the Man Of Steel judging from the DK universe in which Superman was either an ass licking jerk of the goverment or a whining dork.
Yes. It was originally slated for August. Then it got delayed for November. I'm not sure if that still is still the situation because DC's November and December solicitations didn't include Superman Year One #1. Frank Miller is pretty famous for delays (as are several other industry legends) so it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. But it will be released, just be patient -- I know it's not always easy to be patient (I'm dying to read this too!) but I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
Could you please explain to me how DC was responsible for screwing up Frank Miller & Jim Lee's All Star Batman & Robin, The Boy Wonder? Unless I'm missing something, I think Miller & Lee managed to screw that one up all by themselves without any help from DC. The only thing I see that DC did wrong was starting to publish it before they had at least six issues in the can
They just wait until it’s done and release it as one book. Is Romita Jr. still working on it? I thought I heard he went to go work with Millar again.
