    It’s not a surprise Marvel and Fox has worked and negotiated with each other, they have on every XMen and F4 movie.
    They negotiated on the Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver characters too.
    James Gunn was told Fox had the rights as part of the FF package for crying out I'll believe Marvel Studios knows who they have the rights to and who they don't over you.

    It was ME that made the deal, because they are the one that have the contract with Fox.

    I don’t think either side knew who had rights, I sure they had their lawyers look into it.

    None of this matters anyway. Nothing is going to change with the MCU and XMen for a few years
    The MCU will continue under Feige
    The XCU will continue under Donner and Kingberg
    Perlmutter will try to keep XCU under him and stop the crossover.
    Donner, Kingberg and Feige will fight Perlmutter

    I don't think Marvel Entertainment controls much of anything anymore where it concerns film rights to Marvel stuff.

    Oh they got a memo years ago saying whatever Marvel Studios wants it gets I mean Marvel TV can't use anything without Marvel Studios permission first the Loki Staff was going to be in AoS Season 1 until Marvel Studios said "No Bad Boys and Girls that's ours" Marvel Comics and TV with cartoons try to make characters look like their movie counterparts. Yeah basically ME stamps whatever Marvel Studios wants no questions asked.

    ME controls or license out television,video games, comic books, merchandise and Fox stuff.
    Iger made a mistake when he divided MS from ME.
    He should’ve put Feige over ME and kept the division together.
