In X-Men: The End, Kitty ran and won as mayor of Chicago and would later be elected president of the US ( not much later Bishop's timeline happened )

I wonder why Hank McCoy isn't running for Senate on the X-Party (Xavier Party) ticket? He has the impressive academic background, as well as tenures with the Avengers and X-Men, etc. For all the mayhem that Robert Kelly brought on to the mutant community through public policy, you'd think that somebody would step up to try and reverse things to be more accommodating to mutant civil rights.
I think a secret mutant could run... definitely not an X-Man though.

Kitty should run. She likes being bossy and it seems like it would fit her very well. It'd also give her something to do outside the Xmen like an adult.
I think we can all agree that anyone who does run for public office will need Cypher as a speechwriter.
When is Poltergeist going to stop wearing that baseball uniform? Lol
