I feel what I'm publishing in the blog is needed -- the same applies to my other projects (which I've occasionally published) but to a much lesser extent.
Here are the projects and their corresponding themes. I've fully developed the characters for each and written out the current projects to completion.
Current Projects
Aquarius -- Drugs, Music, Spirituality, Fate (Tragedy)
Modus -- Sex, Love, Race, Celebrity (Contemporary Fiction)
Primus -- Heroism, Anti-Heroism, Villainy (Action-Adventure)
Kerouac Black -- Art, Desire, Morality, Mortality (Film Noir)
Moon -- Purity, Corruption, Redemption, Immortality (Fantasy)
Future Projects
Nihilon -- Violence, Media, and Culture (Futurism)
Lightwave -- Technology, Feminism, Sentience (Science Fiction)
Caine -- Brotherhood, Revenge, Honor (Action-Martial Arts)
Noire -- Sisterhood, Immigration, Criminology (Historical Fiction)
Tao -- Family, Friendship, Religion (Drama)
How long does it take you to write and publish something?
I can complete entries to my blog in under five minutes. My books (about 200 pages) take about a year for me to write and edit -- though I don't publish any of my writing currently. Graphic novels (3-4 issues each) take about three months. Character drawings only take about a day to sketch and color by hand. Original songs can take anywhere from a few days to a few months to compose.
How frequently do you add content?
Every day if not every other day depending on mood -- which usually determines which media I work in.
Do you have guest contributors or do you do all the work yourself?
Myself.
Do you publicize your blog?
Only in my sig.
