“True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice.”
~Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
“If I love you, I have to make you conscious of what you don’t see.”
~James Baldwin
I feel the best characters for this kind of treatment need to have fairly grounded powerset, something that can be affected by age...
Also I think 'Old Dame' has a closer gravitas to the tone behind the 'Old Man' title. So something like for for Sue would be 'Old Dame Sue'.
Old Aunt May. The original old woman
1. Old Woman Medusa (She usually dies outside of the 616. I'd like to see what would happen if she survived)
2. Old Woman Jean (She was dead for almost 2 decades. She has so much living left and a mission)
Old Woman Carol could be interesting. Her Captain Marvel powers still at full keeping her going, but her angry and bitter after watching all her friends die over the years.
Old Lady Wanda
Old Lady Selene (Black Queen of the Hellfire Club).
Can’t belive that no one’s suggested ‘Old Lady Natasha’ yet. She’s the most obvious IMO given the general tone and style of the ‘Old Man’ books.
Old Woman Medusa
Old Woman Monica
Old Woman Janet
Old Woman Melissa/Mimi.
None not because they are women because they have already milk this concept too much. Black Widow or MockingBird makes the most sense but they have milked concept already to much. We have seen it with Lanterns,Wolverines,Robins and Batgirls,Hulks, etc you can water down a good thing.
Old Woman Kamala
A.K.A. Khan before joining Exiles
Black Widow. Her super soldier formula starts running out, and there are scores to settle.
