Going with worstblogever for some excellent Superdickery.
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
SuperCooper for that switcheroo.

THE CBR COMMUNITY STANDARDS & RULES ~ So... what's your excuse now?
Thanks to all! This was obviously a very close contest, where everybody liked all the choices (and rightly so). I was a big fan of The Prisoner when it first ran on US television (yes, I'm that old, and I wasn't a kid then, either!), so the Kirby take on the show was a natural post for me. I'll put up the new week's contest early this afternoon.

Congrats seismic! Another great example of Kirby flexing his creative muscles.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Congratulations to seismic-2 for the cover. Kirby101 has expressed the cover quite well here and a lot quicker and more eloquently than I would have done. Between this and his 2001 adaptation, I marvel at Kirby's ability to not only show his own ideas but to portray other ideas just as well in his distinctive style.
Now what has the captain learned this week? He has been reminded of both the story and artistic possibilities of jail. So many superhero exist to put bad guys in jail so it's quite natural to consider the opposite situation. And those bars make for a powerful image. Very nice theme this week, Shalla Bal.
And thanks to the vote from foxley which gave me an early lead I was sadly unable to keep.

I thought I had a winner this week, but hey, it's hard to top the King! Congrats seismic-2!
