In the case of IG-88 it should be noted that he is of a line of assassin droids so one could appear and it just be another one of them. As to reusing props, I'm pretty sure that IG-88's head is even a case of reusing props from the bar in A New Hope.

However according to a brief internet search, IG-88 is still active post-Endor relatively close to TFA so maybe he's still around.

Bossk is likewise a sort of prop reuse-he's basically a repainted cantina alien head with a British flightsuit (One that made a few appearences on "Doctor Who").

Dengar, likewise, seems to have elements of Stormtrooper and Walker captain armor, so he's a bit of a "Kit bash" too, as well as 4-Lom who is basically a repainted Threepio with a new head.

I'm guessing it might've been done a bit on the cheap since these guys only had a few seconds of screen time compared to Fett (although Zuckuss's costume doesn't appear to have that many reused elements either).

IG-88 has been confirmed by Favreau. Looks pretty close to the original prop although a bit smoother.

More news on IG-88, he might be voiced by Taika Watiti. (We never heard his voice in the original trilogy).

IG-88's been voiced a few times before, most notably in "Forces of Destiny" (By General Grevious's voice Matthew Wood) and "Droids". Both voices sound pretty similar, sort of Vader but with even more of a mechanical sound.

Pictures have been released. There was also a Sizzle reel but it hasn't been made available officially.

    A few things:

-Mandalorian seems to pretty much be a bounty hunter.
-The footage shows an Iris-style door which seems a bit like the ones seen in ALIEN.
-Tatooine setting is pretty much confirmed. You can see Jawas, Sandcrawelers, and concept art of a Dewback.
-The Dewback design actually looks a lot closer to their original look, rather than the CG Special edition and prequel versions which looked more like a Dinosaur (I think because they were using modified Jurassic Park CG).
-Also in concept art are the Blurrg, the creature mounts from "Battle for Endor". In canon these guys showed up in Clone Wars already.
-Clips and pics of Weathers and Gina in costume.
-There's at least one TIE fighter, and concept art of Scout troopers.

Trailer was also shown, but once again no official release yet.

Seems to be narrated by Herzog.

-Giancarlo's character seems to be an Imperial commander of some sort, and has Deathtroopers with him. He also pilots a TIE!
-Stormtrooper with flamethrower. The color scheme and weapons are directly from The Force Unleashed! I'm guessing this is partially Filoni's doing, he likes to put little nods, or canonize, parts of the old EU (For example, Thrawn).
    -Fight with Gina's character.
-A Devaronian (Cantina devil guy). Given the Tatooine setting this may be the same guy, Labria!
    -IG-88 in action
-Some kind of droid that looks a bit like the RA-7s but more streamlined. Might actually be a helmet.
-What looks like the cantina itself.
-A Twi'lek lady. Not Hera though. This one's light purple.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett,
A character you tolerated and one you actually liked!

another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe,
Hopefully this one will fare better than Captain Phasma.

The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order
    .

Because we here at Disney know that you really don't care for the new movies and are just seeing them out of obligation and nostalgia, so we are staying away from them.

We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
LONE. No matter how cool the rise of a Mandalorian Empire would be we can't do it because JJ said "Empire vs Rebels forever, Mandalorian empire never." then the Game Of Throne guys staked out the Mandalorian empire for their new trilogy. So all we get is one.

There was a five minute clip shown as well, showing the new guy negotiating with Weathers and Herzog's characters.

    It also had....

1)Kowakian Monkey Lizards (The Salacious Crumb aliens). One is roasting on a stick, while another is in a cage.
    2) A droid similar to Jabba's door droid. Even think it uses the same voice and dialogue, minus the laugh.
    3) A gonk droid. All three of these things are shown pretty quickly after another so it does feel a bit like they're pouring on the Nostalgia a bit thick.
    4) The Stormtroopers in particular are interesting, they're of course your standard Stormtrooper but the armor is very dirty and worn out looking, even more so than the Sandtroopers in the OT.

Thought I'd bump this thread as there's supposed to be a lot of Mandalorian stuff coming out at D23, including a trailer that will be available outside the convention.

A poster has already shown up, once again strongly hinting at the Tatooine setting.

It would be cool if they treat him like Judge Dredd, and you barely see his face outside of the helmet. Show looks promising.

So much more excited for this show than I am for Episode 9.
