    Default Whats your favorite teaser/trailer

Sometimes, trailers are just mind blowing, in many cases they are far better than the final product.

Particularly in recent years when they are cut so brilliantly.

    My favorite trailers are:

Man of Steel (the third trailer is probably my favorite trailer ever)
Avengers Infinity War (the first teaser gives me goosebumps)
Mortal Kombat (i still listen to that kick ass techno score)
Inception (the folding city...like WTF? was my reaction)
Iron Man (the first one with the Audioslave song)
Aliens (the shot of the mech suit melted my brain as a young boy)
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (for obvious reasons)

I won't be able to say which trailers were which, but...here goes:

Prometheus. This one really got me hyped, because it looked like it was going to be an amazing movie. That Ridley Scott sure gets some great DPs.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The music and the way it was cut...awesome.
Inception. The one that gave us...BWAAAAAH!
Interstellar. The one that gave us a brief glimpse of the black hole.
Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 2. This one was kind of weird, because...I actually didn't go crazy over the first movie's trailer. "Hooked on a Feeling" didn't give me some goosebumps until a couple of weeks before the movie came out, so I'm going to attribute the goosebumps to influence (everyone thought it was awesome). The second movie's first trailer with "Fox on the Run" had me so excited. I could not figure out how the GotG managed to find these songs that I'd never heard before that turned out to be so awesome. I thought the ending was really well done, but the movie was just ok for the most part.

Avengers: Age of Ultron. In great part because of the twisted version of 'I've Got No Strings', which was also a nice nod to the then-recent acquisition of Marvel by Disney.

I don't think the movie itself lived up to the hype of the trailer, though it was still a very solid action flick.
Take my dreams, childish and weak at the seams
Please don't analyze, please just be there for me
