Emma can appeal to Iceman's sympathies given Christian's situation, is probably a bit more manipulatable given their past history, and is an omega level powerhouse. It does make me wonder what she isn't saying. As far as I know, Emma's dad was only human. If she's got full access to her telepathy I don't see why she'd need any help with him at all. She also pointedly mentioned Bobby being a capable fighter and having a modicum of telepathy resistance. Why does that matter unless there's other telepaths involved besides Emma? This is very exciting... Has Christian Frost ever appeared outside of Emma's solo? It's sad to think that Emma was content with him rotting away in a psych ward all these years but perhaps Sina will reveal that she's been paying him visits off panel.

I like it when Emma is on the X-men's side. I loved it when she helped both Jean's in the Jean Grey solo, and I can't wait to read this issue. I hope the editorial team realizes that while Emma is no saint she should not be portrayed as a villain. They should not erase all the years that Emma has contributed mightily to the X-men and what she accomplished along with Cyclops.
I didn't make it to the comic store to purchase Iceman #1, but I will try my best to get this issue.
