Just a guess on my part. Set is the only Elder God bold enough to take on the Olympians. Well, the Midgard Serpent might try it, but doubtful it has a multi-headed guise.

I thought it looked more like nightmare (and as they are hinting he will be the villain in Dr Strange 2)

Interesting choice of Legacy numbers. That means Aaron's run skips from 707 to 718, and the issues won't be published in Legacy number order (that would require Aaron's book to skip a month).

I hope they launch a new Avengers monthly out of this.
Let Aaron's team be the flagship movie-inspired team, but also have this one for fans of the classic Avengers.
I'd call the book Avengers Saga (since Odissey is taken by JLO).
Aaron's book would be the Mightiest Heroes on Earth, always on call to protect the population from big threats, while this other book would be about Earth's Mightiest Heroes away from Earth. They'd be free to explore other planets, realms and timelines, dealing with big cosmic and mystical threats regular humans wouldn't even know about.
My team would be:

Spectrum

(Hawkeye would be busy leadimg a new Thunderbolts)

Yeah I actually like most of what the WCA are doing. Hope it has long run (with my luck that means it is doomed but hope springs). I would like them to get another long term avenger on the team undercut the "they are not real avengers" crying. Maybe Tigra can stick around she has put in a lot of time.

I would not mind another Avengers team something more along the Unity squad goals though. Heck the mansion is just sitting there as a museum.

It is good to have Scarlet Witch, Vision, and Hawkeye in the same book again.
