Speaking of Fabio, Freddy Freeman shouldn't look like him either for that mater.
Not the worst costume but certainly the worst hair change. Look what they did to the poor guy LOL!

It was main universe Hal. That was during the Renegade story where he had long hair, and I suppose Pascal Alixe thought that Hal should look even more attractive than usual, so he decided to give him a more, I guess, "androgynous" appearance.

Yes. Kitty's bad taste in costumes was intended as part of her youthful characterization.

He also gave Hal bangs for some reason. EVS drew him to look like Fabio with long flowing hair, but he didn't look so bad when the hair was just overgrown, not flowing - kinda more Sawyer from Lost, than Fabio. (which is how Tan usually drew it) But that's me... Not a great look, but I don't think it's one of the worst.

I think that one actually would have looked decent, if Billy Tan wasn't such a bad, inconsistent artist; I mean, dude used to make Hal's domino mask look DRASTICALLY different from panel to panel .

This thread is funny to me because DC has typically been FILLED with characters with outdated, cliche looking, and even outright ugly costumes and deigns to me. That's part of the reason I preferred Marvel over DC so much as a child, because Marvel's costumes typically looked way better and cooler than most of DC's. But Marvel's quality eventually got so bad that even DC's typically goofy, ugly costumes couldn't keep me away; good art and storytelling is ultimately more important than what a character's costume looks like, IMO, even though you do get some that are such an eyesore that it can DEFINITELY detract from the story.

Is it weird that I used to think Peacemaker's "toilet helmet" was goofy as hell, but now I think it's awesome and I don't want to ever see a version of him without it? (although I do like the tweak where it covers his nose)

While not the absolute WORST costume ever, I have a few issues with The Signal's suit. 1) it's too busy 2) it's divorced from his name and powerset and 3) I hate that he has like 5 different bat motifs on his suit, including a bat logo on his face, for marketing sake.

Duke's suit makes no sense to me, it always looks like he's missing a motorcycle. There's no reason to have bats all over him. I mean Batwing escrima sticks? Come on
