Here's the appreciation thread for our favorite immortal mutant sorceress thread. She just made her glorious return in X-Men 11. Loved her in Necrosha and I loved in her Masters of Evil where she trashed both Doom and Magneto.

Selene was brought back by Amora/Enchantress. Selene was so tired, she forgot how much she hates Rachel. Selene hasn't fought no one since her resurrection

Thanks, I was expecting something more from her resurrection.
Is she still uber-powerful or is she back to her "standard" powers (manipulation of inorganic matter)?

She didn't really do anything besides stand and talk after her resurrection and didn't fight anybody before walking away so we don't really know what her powers atm are. But at least she wasn't giant sized like in Necrosha after her power up so I'd assume that it's the standard powers she usually has.

I love that she's finally back in the 616-verse and I truly hope she gets some awesome page-time coming up. I was quite disappointed that BCW did nothing with her (other than her resurrection) So I'm looking forward to see where she turns up next.

I´ve always found Selebe the scariest X Villain.. someone that old, that ruthless, that selfish.. with 17,000 years walking the Earth.. I wonder what her secrets are.. and where are he worshippers? wasnt Von Roehm the High Priest of her cult?

However I hope she gets a better clothing design.. the X Men clothing she was wearing were quite beneath her

Agreed. Mutant witches are the best. They should form a coven and rule with a magic fist.

Selene should be on the level of Apocalypse or the Shadow King, as an immortal mutant villain.

She has always been under utilized and downplayed. I wasn't the biggest fan of Necrosha but I liked that they made her a massive threat in that event.

I hope when we see her again they will give her more to do and say, and expand on her vast history. I also want to see use her shadow powers.
