Sieg vs Shirou Amakusa was a beautifully fluid battle too.

In general, the last five or so episodes of Apocrypha had some amazing fight scenes. Besides the ones already mentioned we also got Achilles vs. Chieron, Achilles vs. Atalanta and Mordred & Kairi vs. Semiramis. It was good stuff. Originally Posted by Len Ikari145

Gilgamesh is this supremely confident ancient king who throughout the franchise usually views other people as mongrels, playthings or less. So just him acknowleding the laid back world conquerer that is Iskander as an opponent worthy enough to get serious against. Which turns the fight into a complete curbstomp instead of the fun epic showdown between an infinite army and an infinite armory that Iskander had hoped for. But he kept on struggling until the end and was fully acknowledged by the King of Heroes.
It's stuck with me.
