    Back to rag dude, if this were a captain America book, I might think that the mystery figure was Madame Hydra. She had the magical abilities, the centipede design, and would naturally be a burn victim. But her grudge would not be with Peter.

    And man, am I loving Nick Spencer's ASM. It's equal parts comedy, soap-opera and drama. The jokes are frequently hilarious and he's got a feel for what a modern day Marvel universe would be, given current trends in tech and culture.

    so how often has kingpin been deferent to another villain? Curious. Did he make some kind of deal for super-strength?
